Taking over supervision of all means of communication in the company in April 2004. At the same time, the number of subordinate employees in my department had stabilized for 20 people.
In a short period of time the biggest changes in telecommunication in shipyard since last 20 years occurred.
I mean: • exchange of shipyard’s old trucking-radios for mobile phones (including some 550 cameras); • reduction in the average mobile call prices by 40%; • creating semi-automatic system of clearance of private telephone calls; • replacement of two old telephone exchanges by a modern CBX — lowering the purchase of equipment by 70%.
